It’s been for 2 months. It’s too fast and I realized the time won’t wait me. So far, my American life is great thanks to everyone. In the beginning, I could not understand what teacher talked about and I needed to be under tension all the time at school. But one day, I noticed I’m exchange student and I came here to improve English. So, in the classes I sit the seat of first row and I ask teacher every time when I couldn’t understand. All of my teachers kindly taught me until I understood. My friends are always helpful too. So, now I can understand almost perfectly in every class.
I chose to join in the international club at school, but I have friends in sports club as well. My friends are awesome. My English is not perfect. When I talk to them, I speak slowly and sometimes I need to ask my friends what they said. But they wait me until I finish, and they talk to me slowly. I really like to talk with my friends. When my friends and classmate see me, they say “Hi, Nancy（Nancy is my English name）” or they smile at me everywhere every time so I really like to go to school. I’m happy to meet them in my life.
Recently, we had homecoming week. Each day of this week, we had events. For example, Wednesday was PJ day so some students and some teachers wore pajamas. It was funny because I’ve never seen students and teachers wear pajamas in school. The biggest event of this week was dance party. I was very very excited to go there because in Japan we don’t have dance party at school. Before the party, I went to friend’s house and we dressed up. When I experienced it, I felt I’m like a real American high school student. After dressing up, I went to party with my friend. I enjoyed very much thank to my friends. I thought Japanese school should have dance party.
